March 2012

Two Chances to Experience RTC this Year!

After last year’s trailblazing expansion of Revit Technology Conference to two hugely successful events, held in both Australia and the US, preparations are well under way for this year’s conferences. The 2012 conferences promise to be the biggest and best of these events yet, bringing a comprehensive range of presentations on all matters relating to Revit and BIM. This is a unique ‘for users, by users’ event, where experts and leaders in the field of BIM share their knowledge and exchange their insights.

With attendance up by 35% last year, to a record 460 attendees RTC Australasia may sell out this year – just another reason to reserve your spot early! With a massive 91% of attendees at the North American event indicating that they would like to attend RTC in the future, the conference has cemented its place on the calendar. With limits on attendance numbers, each conference will continue to bring the relaxed and friendly RTC atmosphere to its attendees, with the innovative, thought-provoking and informative presentations that you have come to expect.

Come join RTC this year and see why it is now firmly established as the leading Revit event worldwide.

RTC Australasia

RTC will, for the first time, come to the Novotel Northbeach, in Wollongong, just south of Sydney. This capacious venue allows us to continue to offer a wide range of subject matter and more choice for attendees. Relevance is assured!

RTC North America

RTC selected the second site, the Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort in Stone Mountain, Georgia, for its beauty, seclusion and services. Nearly every window offers views of Stone Mountain Park and many of the Stone Mountain itself. The size of the venue means it will be intimate and most likely we will have the entire place to ourselves!

New This Year - RTC VisDay

The inaugural RTC Visualisation Day is an adjunct to the Revit Technology Conference, dedicated to best-of-breed visualisation technologies and methodologies. It will be held immediately preceding RTC 2012 Australasia on Wednesday (23 May 2012). It recognises the unique attributes of visualisation as a process, and the skills of those in the industry. We are proud to have secured some industry heavyweights to share their knowledge and to support an open dialogue in an intimate environment - similar to established RTC events generally. Come and learn from some of the industry's best, from Australasia and abroad.

During the day, we'll hear from world-class speakers on a variety of types of visualisation, including:

  • Immersive
  • Interactive
  • Live-Action Compositing
  • Integrated
  • Iterative

Numbers are limited, so don't miss out! Special discounts on registration fees are available to those also registering for RTC 2012 Australasia

Who should attend?

Architects, CG Artists, Studio Leaders, Design Directors, Students, Building Owners, Developers, Graphic Designers, Marketing Managers, Real Estate Agents, Application Developers, Creative Directors, CTOs and CIOs.

Please note: These instructional lectures are fast paced and not for visualisation ‘newbies’, and computers are not provided (though attendees can bring their own as the datasets and trial installations will be available for download prior to the event).
